SHOW thoes QUAIL!!!!

I'm not to sure. I've got 5 chicks. It's my first time at this and I'm seriously in love. I bought 24 eggs from a local lady who had at least 100 corturnix quail in her aviary. She said she had all varieties of them. She had tons. Her set up was awesome. She even had jumbos! Anyway... Back to the story. I incubated the eggs and due to humidity and ventilation issues in my borrowed incubator 7 hatched. Two passed in the first two days. ( they were my two late hatches don't know if that's why) so now I've got 5. From another thread where it talks about colors. Looks like I've got 1 tuxedo, one cinnamon colored one, one golden, and two wild/ brown Pharo color. No clue really. I've bought a new incubator and can't wait to try again

First night in the coop. Limited them to only two of the boxes with remote thermometers. In 3-4 days all the jumbo browns go to their box as well. A few things to do to the third box and put the dooor on the top. But the pharos noticed my camera and rushed to the front. Shhhh i didnt mean to scare you guys...

I have that issue al the time when I take a pic or video, they saw me and ran in the very corner. They are wild though have one silver that loves to be held. And if I hold them a way they com down and sleep.

I have a really white button quail and I don't know if it has a bid. Does anyone know how to tell female from male?
