People driving by will stop and watch them as they fly in.

We share our property line with a large fenced retention pond that is frequented by wild ducks. The area on the other side of the pond is a small wildlife preserve. I have a great view of the entire pond and surrounding grassy fields from my upstairs spare bedroom. I'm hoping some of the pairs will build nests nearby. Nothing warms my heart like watching ducklings following their mama. Goslings are even more fun to watch. Canadian geese have a bad reputation as being nuisance birds. It's a shame because they are quite intelligent and friendly as long as you show them courtesy and respect.
