How can I stop my rooster from being such a bully to me and my girls!

I have asked about other's experiences with SS roosters on the breed forum thread, and have heard similar stories reflecting my own experiences. Love the breed, the hens are great, but the males seem to be a mixed bag. My birds have all been hatchery, so maybe breeder/show quality birds will work out better. Mary
 
Well, I will do what I can. Hopefully If he doesn't get better we could just give him away to a happy family. I will have to try making him feel like he is not the boss.Thank you to all who replied!
