Help! Humidity keeps going down.

all of the water wells are full and i have only one vent on top closed.This is my first time trying to hatch, it says to keep them open but it doesn't seem to keep the humidity without the plugs, i only have a few eggs in there. Its been lockdown since friday, hatch day was yesterday, i have two big sponges in there, one container with water and a sponge another with another sponge that been cut in have and one more small sponge

I'm fairly new to this, i am using the hydrometer the little giant came with, could you recommend that won't be costly? I live in Ca, dry here but my house gets cold at night, could that be it? i have little condensation on the windows and from when i checked a few minutes ago its 58 degrees, should i check to see if anyone is alive?
