ducklings

I dissolve calcium citrate tablets in warm water. If you know how many milligrams, you can just estimate.

In other words, if I want to give 125 milligrams, I dissolve a 250 mg tablet in a cup of water and give half a cup. Because half of 250 is 125.

Calcium is tricky for ducklings - get a vet's guidance on this - it will depend on their body weight.

Is the vet telling you they need calcium? As a general rule, we give less calcium to ducklings and drakes than we do for laying ducks.

Too much calcium is harmful.

I haven't started them on any yet..the hatchery told me to use it..it's the biggest Hatchery around me and I couldn't find a vet that sees ducks anywhere around me

They seem to be doing allot better they can both eat now the swelling has gone down and they have grown tremendously...at what age do campbell ducklings feather???? I'm separating them today because the bigger ones think that their bills are food and chase them around the pen trying to get them
. I'm afraid their going to hurt them

If it was me I'd buy some Poultry Nurti Drench and just put some in their water it is the best i have found to boost the immune system and give a good start. I use it during molt too.
