Various Necropsies - Contains Very Graphic Pictures!

Girl's thanks for being here to help us..
My poor girl.. R.I.P. I kept thinking it was mites or lice.. She did seem anemic, although I thought it was from the lice or mites.. None of the 3 treatment's helped. Gave her a round of corrid for coccidiosis earlier, then duramycin. The symptoms were puffy at first.. . I had treated my flock earlier this year for worms so I never thought to redo.. Then i got these precious girl's & did not treat them.. They must of had them when we got them..
They can get roundworms (Ascaridia galli) large roundworms. & these to me were large..from the bug's they eat. Snails, earthworms, or other insects .I'm praying that our local feed store has valbazen.. They open in 30 minutes.. Patiently waiting.. :caf

Cecal worms -Kathy
Kathy, what was the cause of death here, Do you know? Is that a tumour or Ulcerated area in the bottom photo? Thanks x
That was one of my first necropsies, so I wasn't as thorough as I should have been, but I think that one also had spots on her liver, so it's possible the cause of death was a combo of blackhead and E. coli from that ulcer on her cecal pouch. -Kathy
