Here is the first. Four month old peacock that belonged to someone else.

Three hours before he died.

This is the other one, it was dead when I picked up the sick one

Note that both are about 1000 grams underweight.

What was wrong with it?
Both of them had blackhead and probably an E. coli infection. Had the owner called me a few days earlier I might have been able to save them. They talked to an employee at a feed store and were then sold a bottle of VetRX!

This sounds very disguisting but do you have any necropsies or anything with pus?

Two of the peafowl above had pus in their cecal pouches. I'll go back and point those out when I'm on the computer ( on iPad now). I also have pictures from hens with peritonitis, stuck eggs and pictures from live birds with pox and secondary sinus infections, lots of pus in those pictures.

I really wish I had taken pictures of the ponies when they had pigeon fever, that was more pus than anyone should have to see, lol.

Oooh. I once called the vet and when she got there the cow had died and she opened her up and her entire body cavity was all covered in pus!! I guess she got an absses on her inside and it ruptured..... I know this sounds weird but I like it when a absess or something like that pops on an animal because I know that the animal has had sooo much relief from pressure build up. I get ingrown finger and toenails all the time! so I know what it feels like when it pops! For some reason I always have at least 2 ingrown somewhere..... I think it is from being in an area where everything has bacteria and stuff on it!
