Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join to our flock. You have some nice breeds. Australorps are my favorite standard breed. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds), and they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and the best layers of the standard, brown egg laying breeds. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
 
Thank you. I did a lot of research before I decided to raise my own. My favorite memories from childhood are of helping my aunt with her chickens, and i wanted to experience that kind of joy again

Welcome nice to see more and more Coloradans .... Nice looking birds I'm currently trying to finish out my new coop so I can get some Easters thrown in the flock most exciting part I got hooked was the first eggs it's such a reward
 
I can't wait for fresh eggs. I'm in love with my chickies, I'm already trying to convince my honey we need just 2 more lol :)
