hatching experiment home made

I have a 40wt bulb now have door closed trying to see how this goes. I also put bulb at angle so its closer to water source. Do I need more water source? Bulb right above the majority not just half?
I took out the digital thing and it read 35 humidity in my home I set it out for about 30min. Now that I have it in box it shows 61 humidity and decreasing.... soooo as temp goes up humidity goes down.

how much space is between the bulb and the eggs? You need to take the temperature on the hot side of the eggs. There can be a several degree variation between the "sunny side" and the "shady side".

Measures 2" and I have on wire end a cover its the top of an cardboard type egg carton.

That looks a lot better than the first photo, but please be careful with the cardboard divider. Something non-flammable would be much safer.

huuummm that was my thought also but tinfoil would be a heat conductor ..right? and ive not anything else that can help but did have thoughts of adding a cookie sheet parchment you place in the oven just fold it and place between cardboard and bulb.

Tinfoil is not a bad idea, either. Just build a double wall, with an inch or so of air space between the foil layers. All the heat will pass through, but it won't be in a focused place.
