That's what I'm guessing too ... Which sucks cause I bought them as a breeding pair but the farmer wasn't sure if #1 was a hen. They're only 6 months so not yet laying, no way to tell. Its so confusing though because they both have streamers and their combs are the same size, but only #2 has wattles....

Ugh! Not knowing is torture! :(

They are both cockerels. One is nonbearded, which is why he has wattles. The other is bearded, which is why he doesn't. Bearding suppresses wattles.
