Injured Face?

On both sides of the head just above the eyelid, there is a scratch on my hen's head that is bleeding. She will not stop scratching at it. The weird part is that it is pretty much the same scratch on both sides, so it doesn't seem like she just nicked herself on something. What is this? What do I do?

Pictures really healp a lot to identify some problems. Look over her skin for evidence of lice or mites and their eggs.

There are currently no mites as far as I can see.

I now this isn't a great picture, but it is what I could get. The wound seems to have somewhat healed. It is like this on both sides. There is also something near the nose on both sides, I don't know what that is. Anyways, she is still starching at her head a lot and shaking it some.

I found mite eggs on her head and sprayed her with some medicine. Is there anything I need to do for the cuts?
