I'm new to the site and new to the world of raising chickens! I am in southwestern PA. I started out with a large variety of chicks to see which ones I would come to like the most. The flock consists of Light Brahma's, blk aus., Dom's, RSL's, Gold laced wyandottes, and Araucana's. So far I absolutely love all of them! Can't wait to read about everyone else's experiences!!

Hello, and welcome to BYC!

I'm glad you joined us.

You have some nice breeds! All of them should be good layers and have decent temperaments, too. I'm particularly a fan of the Wyandotte breed, as mine have had excellent temperaments, been very good layers, and have been quite cold hardy.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have a nice mixed flock. The first breed I ever had (about 50 years ago) were Light Brahmas and they were gentle giants. Red Sex Links are egg laying machines. You should get loads of eggs from those girls.) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
