I have been trying to hatch duck eggs, but have had no luck. i hatched a batch of Crested Ducks and only got 6 ducks. later i read that "afro" ducks are basically gmo ducks, so i thought that was the reason they didnt hatch. Last month i set a another batch of egges and when they hatched i still only got 6 ducks. i have set another batch so hopefully they come out good.
when i ended the hatch last month i broke open some of the eggs and found that the ducklings were fully formed but they didnt hatch.
I have a circulating incubator with an auto egg turner and i keep it at 99.5-100 degrees Fahrenheit during the regular incubation days. The humidity stays at 50-55%. During lock down i keep the temp the same but increase the humidity to 80%. These are the temps that the duck health website (http://www.duckhealth.com/hatcduck.html) gave me. they didnt work.
What am i doing wrong or is duck hatching a cause dependent on luck.

Ok, maybe why they are not hatching is your humidity during lockdown it needs to be around 60-70% humidity.... When I breed my ducks I keep the temperature at 99.5-100 degrees so it is not to hot or to cold
