Hello there been a lurker for a few years now since we moved out to the country a few years ago just north of Fort Worth Texas.

We moved our family out of the city limits to the country to live a little bit more self sufficient... so of course the first thing we did was add Chickens... it's been down hill ever since. We started with 8 and now have... 123456 bah who's counting :p

Looking forward to actually participating in conversations now vs. just reading as I have done the last few years. :)

We have French Copper Marans, Olive Eggers, Easter Eggers, Silkies, a few Buff Orpington hens left, and some other random additions of the bantam variety.

Thanks for having me,
Xavi

Hi Xavi, nice to meet you. Guessing by your avatar, you have Rotties. Sounds like you have a very strong addiction to chickens - you really DO belong here. Welcome to the Back yard chickens flock.

Welcome to BYC, Xavi. Glad you decided join our flock. Don't feel bad. Very few members are immune to "chicken math.") My wife and I were both raised in Texas not too far from you (Blue Ridge for her, Greenville for me), and I have relatives even closer to you (in Weatherford, TX). Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Hi :welcome Xavi

Glad you could join the flock! Flocks really do have a tendency to grow without you even realising it, I know mine certainly did!!
Wishing you the very best of luck in the future and hope you enjoy BYC, I am sure you will every one very friendly.

Enjoy all the chicken chat :frow
