It's been such a hard winter in New England, I thought folks might like a place to share pictures of their chickens enjoying the spring thaw. Although mud is unfortunately a given when 5 feet of snow melts, my girls have found several places where they can really get their claws in the dirt and spend hours working their way through all the newly uncovered leaves. It's been fun watching them, every day there is a little more visible ground for them to explore. Here are some of my favorite recent shots:
