Broody Silkie

I really want a silkie hen or two if both constantly go broody! And you don't want/need anymore chickens. Please get back to me ASAP!

You really don't want one that goes constantly broody - broodiness can be very debilitating to a devoted hen. They don't even want to leave the nest to eat, drink or poo and get run down very fast. It would be very cruel to keep them broody - they need rest periods even if their hormones don't understand. There are threads that explain how to "break" a broody so she will get her health back.
