So I am a young girl who has 6 ducks, 4 cats, 1 sheep, 9 horses, and 2 dogs. I live on a ranch and have been in 4-H as long as I can remember. I am taking duck and horse this year. We have 4 female ducks and of those 4 three have been laying and one is younger. We then have 2 males.
The ducks are:
Saxony (female)
Magpie (male and female)
Pekin (male and female)
And one female is a mixed breed that we don't know who her parents are.
Me and my mom are the main lovers of the ducks and have only had them for a year. We are beginners and would love your help!
 
Welcome to Backyard chickens, if you go to "Other Backyard Poultry," forum you will find threads on ducks, geese, etc. I'm sure the duck people will be able to advise you.

Enjoy all your critters! 4-H is a great thing to be involved in with animals. I wish I was in it but we don't have one near here.
