what sex are my chicks

I would like to know what the sex of my baby chicks are.
 
Post photos and age(when taken) at "what breed or gender is this." It would help if you showed pictures from the front - so people could check the combs. They really need some pine shavings or litter in their box

Glad you could join the flock! It's too early to tell what sex they are I would wait and post pics as drumstick said. They look like polish chicks to me and they are hard to sex, sometimes you even have to wait untill they crow or lay an egg I certainly have had to. X2 also with drumstick they need some bedding in the box it looks very wet in there and this could cause all sorts of health problems for them. Wet dirty conditions can cause disease and Illness in your chicks, it's an ideal breeding ground for bacteria.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. They are White Crested Black Polish chicks. I agree with Yorkshire coop; they are too young to sex at this point. Post their pics on our What Breed or Gender is This? section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this in a couple of months. By then we should be able to make a reasonable evaluation of their gender. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. You have some adorable chicks. However, I think that they are too young to determine gender on. Usually you have to wait until they are at least 6 weeks old. Still, it wouldn't hurt to post in the What Breed or Gender section for some good guesses.
