Allie & Bino, the albino orpington chicks

That is my own designer color. I also get yellow and blue, but haven't kept any. I've always found people who are happy to add them to their backyard flocks.

I really don't understand bird genetics, so all the information is great.

I'm not overly concerned about the deaths. It's a learning curve. I've hatch for a number of years and deaths and clears and all the other things are part of process. I've done chickens, turkey, quail of two types and probably soon, ducks, so know the trials and tribulations. With the exception of a few old Easter eggers, all my birds have been hatched by me from shipped eggs or my own eggs and my current flock is in the 60's among three breeds.

I had a small hatch of my test eggs last week. One albino survived for mixed color. I'm using a red heat lamp this time. It seems to help keep the chicks from picking on the pink eyed one.

These are the colorings on the the survivors from the first hatch.

They are a little over the weeks old.

Hey everyone, I'm selling 6 of Allie's eggs. I'm selling them for $60, which is reasonable considering albinos are even rarer than Ayam Cemani.

Buyer pays shipping, I don't have a Paypal so money will need sent directly to me. I'll ship after I receive the money.

If no eggs hatch, buyer can try again for half price. This is the last batch I'm selling this year, prices will go up in spring.

The eggs will be a mix of bantam cochin x dutch bantam over orpington.

PM me if interested.
I know this was a long time ago but do you still have albinos?
