My RP's do fine up here in the Banana belt.

I am doing my two skinny Toms in on Sunday. I wish they were older but I need to get rid of the one..because he is a posterior Sphincter muscle opening...

The other was stupid enough to jump into the 100 corn feeding pen..... We are not having a dinner until the 25th.. Do you think 6 days is too long to rest?

The other is going to my corn supplier friend farmer..

Preferably kept around 40°F, six days should be fine.

why aren't the rp hardy there?...
I only have one hen so I have to pick a spare jake along w/the nari tom to keep until spring anyway

That is a very interesting statement. What makes you believe this?

I loose RPs to heat and predators at a way higher rate than any of the others.

Molpet & BookEm...cuties all!

I'm NOT IMAGINING my girls have more neck & head feathers. Long time neighbor brought it up. She innocently asked me where Annie got all those feathers on her neck. She doesn't remember seeing that many on her neck before either. I need to get pictures.

I was looking at mine today, and the girls do seem to have a turtle neck on but I think that will fall into place in a couple weeks and I will not notice it..I am guessing that shoe string plastic tip thingy on the base of the feather is holding them outright just a tad right now.
