I had a poult hatch with conjunctivitis in both eyes when I pulled him out of the hatcher. Not sure if the others pecked him of just bad luck, but his eyes completely goobered over! I've been daily carefully washing the goobers with warm almost hot wet towels and then applying a dot of terramycin to each cleaned eye. Been seeing huge improvement! Third day of treatment. Thought I would pass along, terramycin will work for turkey conjunctivitis.
Man those eye boogies are gross.

Turkeys need a lot more than a coop. You can have toms and chickens as long as the toms never have any access to the chickens and blackhead is not a problem.

I hope you have a large covered run. And I do mean large, not 20x20, but large!
Turkeys need space. They are not large chickens.
