I agree she needs help, I am willing to take her eggs off her hands, kind of like hiding the booze from an alcoholic.
BTW I have 87 eggs going in, plus whatever I get today, I should be over 90. I have
14 EE/PC mixes
7 speckled Sussex
14 PC (partridge chanticleer)
13 turkey that I hope are infertile.
I have Mr T's hotel/bordello half done I have a funeral to go to today, so I will get nothing done on it today. Hopefully tomorrow. It has take me some time to figure out how to build it so I can keep the 4 hens separate after Mr T goes home. I am going to put removable wire dividers in the "coop" that I can slide in, after he leaves. That way I can keep the eggs separate and marked.
He is going to have 4 different genotype hens Self blue, Slate, rusty lavender and Blue red bronze. When he is here I have no choice but to have mixed eggs and try to figure out the poults when they hatch.
I am going to have the same problem with JJ, but it is not as important to keep his hens separate. JJ will have Ethel and 2 self blues. There is no combination a Self Blue and JJ can make that Ethel and JJ cannot. With Mr T all holds are off! We are not even sure what he is. Hopefully Holm will know before too long..
On that Note, Holm, You are not going to get Andy, He holds his tail too high to make a good show bird. However, a couple of his brothers have nice angles on theirs.
When you are here we can decide together which ones you want to take. Here are the SOP's (proposed) for CLBs.
http://www.creamlegbarclub.com/29-standard-of-perfection My birds do well on these but for some reason Andy has too high of a tail.
