A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

They sure are doing their job! They will have lots of poults in a few weeks hopefully! Beautiful girls. Cobra chickens is what I call them. Because when you disturb them on the nest they sound like a snake with all the hissing.

Ya you should see all the snake bites on my hands and arms. :lau
Same! Turkey hens are meaner than our game hens when they're broody, and that's mean. lol Sassy, the semi-gray narragansett hen is still fiercly protecting her baby chicken, a little rooster (of course it is another rooster). She whips my big LGDs over it. They give her a wide berth and want no part of messing with her.

Looking forward to poults from these birds. Hopefully the jennies start laying in a couple months. I'm praying the dapple looking tom is at least carrying cm so I can get some painted poults from them. Im still not 100% if he is dapple or some variety of tuxedo. The grizzled chocolate jenny is looking lovely also.

Don't mind the corn they've left on the ground. They pick the pellets and smaller grain out of the feed and leave the corn. The goats go in and eat the corn.

Just like my pigeons, lol, though they don’t get pellets
