A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100. - Page 754
The last turkey hatched it was starting to bleed so I ran upstairs to the kitchen and grabbed the flour off the top of he fridge so fast I knocked stuff down I got the bleeding to stop so I am trying to keep an eye on it as much as possible so I don't loose it. O does anyone know how to get baby turkeys to eat I have tryed shiny things I have tryed grass I have Ted taking them outside to forage for some things but nothing they have got a drink by them selves the only thing they try to eat is my moms diamond ring. I have also tryed a piece of tin foil under the food but they won't do nothing.
Add some shimmery marbles to the food and water dishes for them to pick at. It will attract them. The best way to do it is to raise them with chicks. Chicks will teach them what to do.
Cream Crested Legbars, BCM, Rhodebars, bearded silkies, good laced/buff laced polish, black/lavender ameraucanas
Bourbon red, red bronze, royal palm, mottled black
I also make hen saddles, PM me for details!
No such thing as too small to go in with chicks..
Ahhh,,,,, I see,, time to get some day old chicks~~
New here and have a question on the way one of my 5 week old Bourbon Red turkeys is acting. It will arc its head back over its back and rub side to side and also walk backwards at the same time. This is my first time raising turkeys so I'm really new to it all. Thanks for any help.
