So has the trio hatched babies yet? Are you still going to separate them? How many hens to you have brooding?

This is a horrible picture but there are actualy 3 poults, 2 chicks, and the silkie here lol
Cream Crested Legbars, BCM, Rhodebars, bearded silkies, good laced/buff laced polish, black/lavender ameraucanas
Bourbon red, red bronze, royal palm, mottled black
I also make hen saddles, PM me for details!
Sorry to hear about your Silkie chick, Auroradream26 - she should improve with the vitamins. One of the poults I hatched earlier this year had it from birth, and it took her over a month to recover. She still is a little odd at times.
Nothing too exciting has happened here lately. I evicted my poults to the coop once they became Houdini poults (Poultini?) and began escaping from their brooder box.
One of my hens started passing yellow-green droppings this morning. She was absolutely fine yesterday evening before I put her to bed - only difference is that she and her partners in crime got into my sweet COB last night. Could a few beakfuls be enough to cause the strange poop?

I'm liking Big Betty!
Freeze dried is probably the easiest to use when traveling. I've taken a really good cooler with my raw food when traveling. Get a room with a fridge, then hit a grocery store as needed. A package of chicken tenders and a can of sardines for bone made a pretty good meal.
"Poultini"...that's funny Feathyr! Hope your hen is okay. Not sure what to tell you about the funny poop.
Gevshiba...lots of my friends love raw. I have enough trouble feeding myself. I had to give up. And Ralphie's hen & baby are darling. ...still waiting for pics of his trio!
Can u get a pic of the funny poop, I might be able to help. I have been trying to get my broody turkey off the empty nest now for about a week so the three turkeys we hatched out of four eggs I took out the three baby's they were running all over her zooming under and out from underneath of her she didn't do a thing so I think I am just going to keep an eye on her and let her raise them
