Hello all. Ok so One of my quail has worms and i waS advised by the local pet store that Harkers liquid wormer (pic included) would do the trick of deworming although it dose not mention poultry....

1. would i treat all the quails even if some do not already have worms?
2.how long after the treatment should you wait to eat the eggs of those without the worms?
3. what would be the dosage for quail- it says dilute a capful with 2l water and feed for three days-for the raceing/exhibition pigeons/cage/aviary birds.

if anyone could shed some light i would be very grateful. Thanks in advance everyone.

If one has worms, chances are they all have worms.

I have never wormed quail with this stuff. Make sure it is safe to use on quail. You might call around at vet's offices and ask what can be used on quail.

Most wormers have a meat and egg withdrawal of 2 weeks after the last dosage.

If you do use this stuff, I would follow the exact directions on the label or a bit less. Pigeons are a bit bigger than quail. If there a dosage by weight, I would go with this dosage.
