Hi guys, I am raising a new small bantam flock of 6 guys so far and wanting to know where other people get their food.

Right now I buy for my 1 laying hen http://www.petco.com/product/113167...y-Diet-Chicken-Feed.aspx?CoreCat=OnSiteSearch

When its on sale I can get a bag for $13, stock up and get free shipping, so its very cost effective for my 1 hen.

Now I have babies, and are feeding them MannaPro's Organic Starter Crumbles (non GMO and everything!) Brown's isnt organic/non gmo...so wondering what other high quality feeds there are, and where to get them online.

There are many different organic feeds. Nature's Best is from PA & is pretty widely distributed. They are supposed to be in most Tractor Supply stores in 40 lb. bags come May. Green Mountain is another & they have both Soy 7 Soy free feed. I think they are mainly in the northeast. There are 2 others made in PA with a limited distribution area & many on the West Coast & some in Texas I believe. It just depends where you are located. Brown's is actually made in my area, but as you stated it is neither organic or GMO free. HTH

Ill keep my eye out in May for some 40lb bags, these little 5lb bags of chick starter are kinda expensive. <3
