Is my chick a Silkie?

Hi! Hope you can help. I bought this little one and it's supposed to be a silkie (it has black skin and 5 toes) but I don't see any puffy feather's on its head, and it's two weeks old. So I am beginning to wonder why! Will they grow or be visible soon? Also, is it a bantam silkie or a regular one? Thank you!

Its a Silkie. Probably a pet quality one judging by the lack of feathers on the legs and toes (especially if you picked it up at Tractor Supply or ordered from a hatchery). The crest will come later, it may be decent sized, or it may not. Most of my Silkies have very large crests, and some of their heads start out looking very much like your little chicks.

Thank you! Yes, she's pet quality. I really hope she gets a puffy head! Guess I'll have to wait :)
