Bird Fever

Maybe 'afraid' is too strong a word. I'm curious if anyone has noticed this behavior among birds in your flock. I even tried tossing bread near the frog I found in my yard, with some crumbs landing directly on top of it, but these hens look at me as if to say, "we love bread but not that much".
