Hi everyone!
I have really enjoyed this forum and the massive amount of info available.

I'm rather new to keeping poultry and am curious about a couple of things with my little flock.

I've attached a photo of Mr. Grey (isn't sexed but my daughter thinks he is a boy. Much bigger than Sugar and is the dominant bird).

Is this early angel wing? If it is, not a huge deal because I have read on the forum it isn't harmful, just asthetic. These birds are our beloved pets and we'll love them anyway regardless.

Other question-what chicken breed are these gals (should both be pullets).

Thanks in advance!

Is it actually sticking out from the body or does it seem more like they're sagging down?

Hey Kevin - thanks for your reply! More like his wings are sagging down. My flock free ranges all day until it's dark, and don't have a ton of grain in their diet. Originally I had read on BYC that providing too much protein can cause it so I thought I was doing the right thing. The birds eat a ton of greens.

In that case it could just be that his wings are heavy from from the new feathers coming in. I had a few goslings exhibit that around that age. They all ended up fine with normal wings as adults.
