Pullet or Cockerel?

Male or female?

Black copper Marans - 5 week olds, 3 has feathered shank, 1 smooth and more orange and bigger(different breed or male). Are 2 of them cockerel and 2 pullets?

The one in the bottom picture, with the most copper, looks like a cockerel, the rest look like pullets.

Here's another angle of almost 4 of em. Thanks for the help guys.

I think the black are all pullets...you've got a "mossy" back which often lays the darkest eggs. My mossy back matured more quickly that the others, but still was clear it was a pullet compared to the roo...by 6 weeks, BCM roo's typically have substantial red combs.

The orange is male....which may be a Blue Copper Marans

Thanks guys makes me feel better, Since the Black Copper Marans cost a lot of money and the same time I cant keep rooster in our allotment due to noise he will make. I will have to rehome him even though I want to keep him.

Well Irving ended up being Isabella after all. After I gave him to my Father in law, And Ellie was in fact Eric(now called Hotwings).
