Couple of days before my wife called me and told me that my Brahma male and female are packing at the other Brahma female hen's vent and it is bleeding. i asked her to separate her from the others and let me come and see the problem. today morning i came and saw that vent from the outside looked ok couple of scares on upper side of the vent but when i picked up the her egg, it had traces what look liked blood on them. so i picked her up and examined throughly and saw something odd in her vent. Here are some pics i took. Please advice what to do?

That is probably her cloaca, and vent pecking can damage it. That part of the vent can prolapse or come outside sometimes, and thatis called a prolapsed cloaca. It is where the oviduct and the large intestine come together, but remain separate from a valve. I would use some Nustock cream on the pecked vents to heal them and discourage pecking (since it smells like pine oil.) Vent pecking can be one of many causes later on that lead to internal laying. Chickens will actually kill each other if it goes to an extreme. Make sure that your hens are getting at least 16-20% protein in their layer feed, get outside to roam, and aren't overcrowded in their coop.
