Hello there and welcome to BYC!

I would try to keep it from going over 100.0 These higher temps can cause deformities and other issues. You are better off dipping a bit on temps than souring too high.

You might stop by our Incubating Eggs forums for more help with your incubator...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs

Good luck with your hatches! And welcome to our flock!

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! I too agree with TwoCrows on slightly lowering your temp. Always best it to be a little lower than higher. Here is an excellent article on incubating https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101 Lots of information on temperatures and the reason for optimum temperature through the incubation process.

Wishing you the very best of luck with your incubator and your future hatches.
Enjoy BYC :frow

@TwoCrows and @Yorkshire coop have given you some good links to check out so I'll just say, good luck with your hatch.

Nice to have you here!

I'm glad you joined our community!

Those temperatures seem right to me. You don't want the temperature to go much higher than around 100, though.

Good luck with your homemade incubator!

A farmer friend loaned me a styrafoam incubater along with 12 leg horn eggs. The gestration period is 21 days. Turn eggs twice a day and keep temp ar 36 celcius or 96.5 farenheight. Once hatched, they nake alot noise so have a place to donate your chicks.

Then apply what you've learned and buy pheasant eggs. Ringtail or white pheasants are quiet. Look around for the best eye candy pheasant. Eggs ship in spring.

Lots of luck
