Brand new babies in the brooder. So excited I had to share

This is Jim, he's 15 weeks old & being VERY good looking over the side of the brooder at his new babies. He is 40% Boerboel, 25% Kangal, 25% Argentinian Dogo & 10% Dane. Jim sat there for 25 minutes just watching the babies run around then fell sleep between the door & brooder. Such a sweet boy!

Is there anyway to tell which ones will be blue black or splash when they grow up?

I don't see any splash. I think there are 5 blue and 5 black. In the first picture the 2 on the right are blue, and 3 similar colored ones in the group off to the left.

Thank you! I didn't think there were any splash in here but didn't know how to Yelm the blue from the black. Is there a general rule of thumb?

Thank you! Any experience with vent picking? I have one baby that the others have ganged up on & it had a bit of blood on its vent. I cleaned it up, sprayed blue kote & put her back in the brooder. She didn't take 4 steps before they started pecking again. Blue kote looks red under a red heat lamp bulb.... I've got it separated but it just keeps screaming for the others. I put a little mirror in with it & it seems to help but it's going to kill me letting this poor thing freak out all night! Suggestions?
