i ordered two silkies and have never owned silkies before. One is white and one is partridge. I have read a lot of information about sexing silkies. I know it's pretty hard to tell until they are much older. Mine are 6 weeks old. The partridge has always been much more curious than the white. And now with their feathers coming in, I know one thing to look for is the "streamers" coming from their heads in roosters. And I have heard that females have a more round head plumage. Here are photos of both for comparison.. I know it's early but look at the partridge head plumage! Total streamer looking.. Is it a good early sign or is it too early to tell?

Your Silkies are too young to sex accurately, but if I had to guess, I would say that the white one is a cockerel.

I figured it was far too young to tell, but fun to guess right? And the white one looks like a cockerel, eh!? I'll try to keep posting pics so there is a nice conclusion to this thread.. Thanks for the opinions!
