So after finding out I probably have a little Cockrell and would rather keep him if I could, since he and his little friend are inseparable and I don't want to have one single bantam, and 5 standards...does anyone know if rooster collars acctually work?

From what I have heard generally the collars do not work. At best the crow might seem a bit softer. Some birds have gotten injured from them being too tight, others have gotten toes caught up it in(trying to get it off) when it was too loose. If something really worked and the bird would be unharmed that company would skyrocket to making billions over night.

Same way I think about diet pills, and other diet fraud, NO ONE would be overweight if they worked and were safe. I have tried many, couldn't believe I was so dumb.

Yeah I decided against it. I don't want to risk it. I am just going to keep him until a someone Complains and hopefully he isn't a loud crower, and I'm still holding out hope it's a pullet even though I know it is wishful thinking. And as far as dieting frauds and other frauds I totally agree. Or I would be skinny myself also!
