Stray rooster; what breed?

He is a gamebird, probably mixed with something else, because that tail and some features are classic game, but his body looks pretty short plus you mention he is small sized.. He is an older bird, at least several years, from the spur size and general appearance.

Game bird means chickens bred for fighting. It is more of a general term than an actual, specific breed though.

Oh wow, his spurs actually just grew in the past several months, they were barely there the beginning of this year. Thanks though
