I noticed that one of my chicks is hopping around on one foot. She doesn't seem to be in major pain and has been getting to the food and water easily. When I picked her up to look at it, I noticed she could move her feet and I didn't see any swelling. Does it sound like she dislocated her leg or pulled a tendon? Should I do anything? I worried about messing with it because she doesn't seem like she is in any pain and I don't want to make it worse.

I had a black sex link chick that got her leg caught under a wheel. She limped permanently after that because, even though the leg was hurt, it wasn't broken and we could not see how to help her. We just kept an eye on her, and she did fine. She could move almost as fast as the other chickens, even with her limp and was a great egg layer. So, I'd just keep an eye on her and see how she does. They are amazingly resilient. She'll probably be just fine.

The swelling has increased and she has been having a little trouble walking. The other chicks are thriving, so sometimes she gets pushed around. I've considered separating her, but I am afraid that will cause her more stress. Now that she is starting to get worse, should I do anything or just continue keeping an eye on her.

You may want to be sure she doesn't have an infection of some kind. If she's getting worse, that may be the cause. There are medications that can help if that's the case.

I took her to the vet and had her x rayed. They didn't see any fractures and said to separate and keep an eye on her. She probably has soft tissue damage and will hopefully heal in a few weeks. Thanks for all the help!
