I am hatching silkies right now. Love bantams. I'm loving the cochins too. I tried the little
Seramas..had too sad an experience with them a couple of winters ago, even with a heat lamp. :/
 
Welcome to Backyard Chickens. My friend has 3 silkies and 2 seramas as house chickens. - unfortunately she has had silkies come and go unexpectedly but, the seramas are very hardy and also kick dog butt, when they want to pretend they are broody in his bed.

Glad you could join the flock! I've not had seramas but I do have polish and I breed them. Lovely little birds and super friendly. They love nothing more than sitting on your lap for a stroke and some of them like to be pirate parrots for the best view. I have a mixed colour flock and I got a white one a couple of hatches ago.
