button quail eggs. please help

Hi we are new to the quail hatching. Any idea why they would die in the egg before they are out they have cracked but that is all. And why they would have twisted legs or they can't even bend them. We can't figure it out.
Not sure if I'm asking in the right spot.
 
I have only had button Quail for about a year, I keep mine in pairs once they are grown up. I actually had two boys and a girl in the cage that got along when they were almost grown I didn't separate them until the girl made her preference known as to which boy she liked then pulled the other male, they get lonely tho I ended up keeping the extra male with a female coturnix until I could find him a new home .

the ones I tend to lose before hatching have usually been pointed not quite where they are supposed to. Tried to pip right below the air pocket usually and nicked a vein Or suffocated .
