I'm not sure about the poop but if you get food grade you can mix it in the feed as a natural dewormer for pets and livestock. Also an odor neutralizer, pest control product.

DE will not kill internal parasites or worms, it is worthless once wet(like inside a chicken)......
.......it is put into feed to kill and insect pests that may lie in feed while feed is in storage.
