We have a tankless at camp. Its pretty awesome! Makes winterizing a lot easier too.
Well I have turned off the brooder and put the eggs out under the silkie. Hopefully will have baby chicks again on tuesday.
@chickapee you need to replace as much of the cold water plumbing as possible with poly, and any hot water that is not copper with copper. Adding a secondary storage tank for the water to air after commng out of the well makes a huge difference as well, but requires a second pump. If you do use a storage tank you want all pipes after the tank to be poly or copper.
Found these this morning. The double, soft thing was still soft, so it must have been laid this morning. The other one was beside it, and could have been there yesterday, and I didn't notice it maybe. I think Katherine laid these, they were under her roost spot. I have only gotten one egg from her (it had no yolk), and it was a while ago, so I thought she was not going to lay until spring, but I believe these are from her. Maybe she'll hit the nest box tomorrow.
