Something managed to get into my guinea coop last night :-(
It got 3 of 4 guineas - the remaining guy has been removed to a safe location, but he has a badly injured wing and is hanging his head. I'm debating squirting hydrogen peroxide on his injury - it seems cruel when he's already feeling so bad, but it could stop infection... except it's all scabbed over. I welcome thoughts on this, too.
However we found 2 eggs. They are fresh. We had 2 pairs (just purchased them form a breeder 2 1/2 weeks ago...) so there's a chance they are fertile. But they were the first eggs we've seen.
Is it worth trying to hatch them?
How long do they incubate?
What humidity and temp do they need?
We have a Brinsea Mini Advance and successfully hatched bantam eggs (bought off BYC) but not duck eggs (from our own ducks).
