Coop "division"

That would work, but maybe consider at least putting three walls up around the part the GSL's, Polish Rooster and the Black Hen like to sleep under so that they are protected but can also stay in their little home?
Actually the coop is sitting currently on a single layer of cinder blocks all around the building area, sort of like a basement...lol

I've seen that coop, the farm store where we got our chicks sells it. No way that will work for 7(?) chickens. And you aren't going to want to be crawling around inside to clean and retrieve a sick chicken or stray egg. It is advertised to house 4 chickens and in reality that means 2.

We bought the next size up coop (same company as yours) the same day we bought our chicks, It was advertised to house 6 chickens (we have 6) before the chicks were even out of the brooder we realized it wasn't going to work. WAY too small and not predator proof. Cheap wood and hardware. Too many changes would need to be done so we sold it on Craigs List unused. We repurposed an old shed and built a run onto it.

If you had only 2 or 3 Bantams, no predators and a mild climate, it may work.

I realized awhile ago there wasn't going to be enough room, that's why I am turning the run unto an extra sleeping area , I can't afford a shed and building anything is way out of my talent range....lol. I do however know how to close a box in with plywood...lol.
