Could be another snake too most snakes only eat about once a week if they are eating good. But it's one way to get rid of the eggs.

I am freaked out by snakes - so I would like to think it is just the one. LOL!!!!

Final update on my mama goose...the snake came back and took the second to last egg, and that left the one.  She sat on it and sat on it, until it finally broke open.  It was a solid yellow mass that looked like a yolk when you hard boil it.  She now stands and looks at the nest and then leaves for a while, comes back and looks and then leaves again...wash rinse repeat.

 

Hoping that she will try again at some point and that I can get her a better nesting spot (that she will use) instead of her going to a crazy spot again.

Maybe close off the area now so when breeding and laying starts again next year she'll already have her new safe place picked out.

Hi there I have a emdem goose laying and she has layed 3 eggs on the ground and it snowed last night would the snow affect the eggs if she was going to sit on them and hatch them !!??? Pm me so I can have answers thanks

she is still laying give her good food and clean water and u will have gosling very soon she will sit on them for about 32-33 day she won't eat or drink during that time !!👌🏻😜😜
