I noticed about 4 days ago one of my chickens was broody. She only leaves the nest once a day and starts pecking and making sounds when you get too close to her. The thing is that I have just found someone with baby chicks of about 2 weeks old to sell, and I was wondering if the hen would accept them if I were to replace the eggs she is sitting on right now with three 2 week old chicks, or if it would be more likely she will not adopt them at all.
Thanks!!

Grafting chicks to a broody hen requires taking action in a very small window - it is not only about the hen accepting the chicks, but the chicks accepting the hen. Unfortunately, chicks the age of the ones you are considering are outside the window and her broody state will make her more aggressive to them rather than more accepting.

Hmm, I had already thought something like that, thank you for your answer anyway, I think I'm going to try and find someone with just hatched chicks, and if she does not accept them I will raise them under a lamp and introduce them when they are old enough
