My ducks hate being outside!

Yes, bless his heart, he's easy!  I'm wondering if he holds a record.  He's over 2 years old.  LOL...he's very high on top of my hutch because my cats knocked the lid of his house.  Thankfully, they didn't want to put their paws in his home and he was hiding in his little rock castle thing.

I couldn't agree more!  I'm so glad I found it and looked to see if there were ducky people in addition to chicken peeps.  Sure...you're happy now until your pilgrims get "old".  :p   ;)
I just realized I've been spelling betta wrong. :0 Oops!

Anyway, I know I will probably want more but I'm going to have to curb my enthusiasm. Hubby's being very patient with me and my need to fill our house with 5 new animals in the last 7 weeks! Not to mention already having to add an addition to the pen just before he was almost done. He keeps saying, "Anything for you princess!" I'm thinking he might have a hint of sacasim in his voice... lol

My neighbor just got some goats! They sound cute Right now I haven't seen them but my husband says they are so small and fluffy. My aunts and grandparents always had horses they are wonderful animals and pigs too I've always loved playing in the pig pen. This site is way awesome for.meeting people I agree with you completely
Awe! I would love to live next door to the goats! That way I could get my fix without having my own. Lol We live in the country and most our neighbors just own cats and dogs.

Haha that's funny, I live in a neighborhood and everyone has a dog and some people have chickens and that guy has goats and now we have ducks!

Here's an update on my little rebels! In preperations of them going out to their enclosure and house soon (I say soon because we had to make an addition for the geese) I took their food out of their indoor pen last night. As they won't be having food and water in their house overnight. Their waterer I left in because it was almost empty anyway. Well, they had a rebellion last night! I woke up to find they trashed their pen! Waterer on the other side tipped on its side and the tray the catches access water thrown on the opposite side! Little boogers. They are outside in their temporary pen making a huge fuss! Especially Hazel. Henry just looks at her like," lady... Quit your squaking! I'm trying to bathe here." They are silly ducks! :)

LOL...sorry, but you're right. They are silly! We're getting ready to do the exact same thing. Made a kitty litter bucket into a waterer and about to switch them from their little one to this new one. I'm fully expecting a fuss of some sort. Were thinking we'd have them in their grown up house soon, but rain has stopped our progress today.

We've had plenty of rain delays here as well. The kitty litter bucket is a good idea! Hopefully they take to it nicely.

We tried having the pekins and goslings out together today as they barely had interest in eachother through the divider. I thought I would give it a try and see how it goes. Henry made his head vibrate and then went after the babies and nipped them in their butts! Hazel had a few goes at it too. So back to separation again. I figured it wouldn't be that easy! Lol
