Hello everyone,

My name is Shannon and I am a new member here. I signed up so I can meet and learn from other chicken lovers out there. I am a huge animal lover and vegetarian. I stopped eating dairy and eggs about a year ago due to the cruelty involved. I would like to start eating eggs again, but only if I know the chickens are loved and treated well. So ultimately I have decided that owning my own chickens is the only true way to achieve this. I recently moved to a house with plenty of yard for my future girls to safely roam. My family has had chickens in the past (some still do) and I cant wait to have my own again!

Yes, loved chickens lay the healthiest eggs! You will notice a huge difference in taste and consistency and color of your hens eggs. I haven't eaten a store bought egg in many years and will never eat one again!
