Hey there,

I am new to backyard chickens and I thought I might upload some pictures of my bantam, duck and turkey :D. I currently own 11 chickens. Three golden sex links, one black sex link, two rhode island reds, one new hampshire red, one barred rock, and two americauna's, along with our duck and turkey. One of our rhode island reds and our barred rock are both about four months old and the rest are about one. Our duck is three months old and our turkey is two months old.
I am excited to begin backyard chickens!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have a nice mix of breeds and hrybids. Black Sex Links are my favorites as they are friendly and hardy, egg laying machines. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybrids), and they have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from that girl. :eek:) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.

Glad you could join the flock! That's a lovely mix of birds you have there and I have loved looking at your pics they are very cute. I hope you enjoy BYC, I am sure you will everyine here to help and very friendly. I see you have another thread about your duck, I'm afraid I don't keep ducks so can't be of much help to you but I hope you find the answers you seek about her.

Thank you for your kind comments. As to drumstick diva, I am honestly not sure! I got her from a friend and she never told me, thank you for your inquiry though :p
