Hi guys am ready to start with my community upliftment project which houses 500 month old boshveld chickens. How best to construct house which is concrete with zinc roofing. Am looking at a 20x5 size. Should it be divided or one huge room. Please advise.
 
Is that 20 X 5 meters or feet? If it's feet, 20X5 won't be big enough for 400 grown chickens unless they'll be in tiered cages.

We kept 100 leghorns in a large 2 room henhouse that was 40 X 20 feet. It could have held more since they were turned loose in the orchard every day.
